The scale stayed the same.

Well I weighed in and I stayed the same again. So much for my big goal but at least I didn't gain. Here's the thing-not to get graphic but
most of my food seems to be still with me. I've eaten lots of fiber, veggies, drank tons of water but nothing is happening. This has always been a problem for me but now more than ever.
This has been my breakfast all week-Fruit, fiber one cereal and flax seeds. Something has got to give soon.
Tonight both Cole & I are working overtime and than tomorrow we are visiting his parents for fathers day-oh joy oh bliss. Wish us luck.

  1. Hey, I just found your blog. I am new to blogging myself. Trying to lose 50+ pounds. I have the SAME, HORRIBLE problem! I'm not sure if this is the best solution...you may get lots of advice, but this is what I do. I sprinkle about 1.5-2 tsp of Miralax in coffee, a smoothie, protein shake, or cereal every morning until...well, until progress. I bet you've lost weight, you just don't know it yet. Sorry, hope that's not TMI!

  2. Ooooh, sorry to hear about your... Blockage problem. That sucks. Maybe you'll see a loss after things start flowing again!

    Question: Are you eating whole flax seeds or ground flax seeds? I read somewhere that you don't get the benefits of flax seeds unless they're ground. I buy mine that way, but I'd say putting them in a coffee bean grinder would work! How did you get into eating flax seeds? They are so awesome! I have some in the fridge, but I don't use them as often as I should (like I can't even think of the last time I used them).

    You are going to visit his parents? That's crazy. Poor Candace!! You guys are a lot nicer to those weirdos than I would be. :)

  4. Hey Candace, I was going to mention the same thing as Christina with the flax seeds. Ya need to grind them up! Are you getting enough oil? It lubes you up...ah yeah that just sounds wrong but you know what I mean!

    Try taking a Omega 3-6-9 tablet as your daily oil and see if that helps :-)

  5. You can graphic - we can handle it hahaha.

    I don't have any problems in that department so I am no help. Fiber One bars cleared me out and give me horrible gas but they cleared me out :-P

    BEST of luck dealing with the In-laws. Rise above any crap they dish out to you and focus on the fact that you are in control of how YOU react to them but you can't control them. Hoping it goes smoothly though.

  7. I take chewable Fiber tabs before bed. Usually things are moving in the morning.

    That's right-you did not gain and made your best effort. That counts,your body appreciates it.

    Acting as if nothing bugs you is the best revenge. Stay strong-don't give them satisfaction. **HUGS**
