Quality time for 1

I love my fiance with all my heart, really I do. We work together, live together, pretty much spend every waking moment together. I need a few minutes to breathe. A lot of ppl would love to have my problems, haha. Our car is in the shop and while he usually goes to the gym in the mornings he has been joining me on my walks and it is nice but I think I just got accustomed to that being me time. I'll get over it. I have gotten in so much exercise this week and have been following my points to a t, hopefully it will pay off on the scale. This week has felt so long compared to last week, I am looking forward to the long weekend-I am having thanksgiving for the in-laws here so that will be even more challenging for me with the weight loss as I will be the one with the leftovers. Did I mention turkey is one of my favorite foods? I have lots of favorites.

  1. There is nothing wrong with enjoying alone time. I can relate...I work from home and my hubby works 5min from our home. He comes home everyday for lunch, and I'm with him all the time as we also run a business from our home. I love him dearly but sometimes I just need a few hrs alone =)It's hard being with someone 24/7. It shows how strong you are as a couple though, as I don't think many others could do it.

  2. Thanks for signing up to follow my blog! I am always very happy when someone new comes along and checks out my story. You have already made a great bit of progress on your own journey and should be very proud! Don't be afraid to talk to your partner and tell him you were enjoying the alone time... we all need some of that sometimes. Enjoy your Thanksgiving!

  3. Everyone needs their own personal space... there's nothing wrong with that. You'll be back to normal eventually... btu I don't blame you. They do say "Absence makes the heart grow fonder"...

  4. I think of walking as "my time" too. I would rather walk alone- I can keep up my own pace, walk my own route, listen to my iPod, and think deep thoughts. I love my husband's company, though, and sometimes we do walk together. But as for my daily routine, I am a lone wolf!

  5. I am completely an "alone time" person. Sometimes I can't believe I live in a house with 3 rowdy, loud "boys" (husband and two teens)...some days, I am just overwhelmed by the activity and noise they create and I take my laptop and a book and just GO for a few hours.

    Happy Thanksgiving :)
